Hello Beautiful Friends!

Let’s talk about skincare routines shall we? I am by no means any kind of expert on the subject, but I do have a tried and true routine that I have been using for the past month and to my delight, I can get all of these products at Target! A couple of things…1. Prior to quarantine, I was experiencing some infuriating hairline and chin breakouts – I feel like I’m getting payback as an adult for not having acne when I was young. I think it is likely all related to stress, anxiety, working out with a hat on (lol) and riding because that is where my helmet sits. Anyway, 2.  I was listening to Megan Tamte (Everever CEO) on her podcast, “In the Dressing Room” and she was talking to the Skin Sisters (found at Zelskin or skinsisters.com). I was thrilled to hear that these experts that I respect were all about a couple of tried and true skincare brands that I could pick up right at my local Target! And let’s face it, right now that might be the easiest place to get those kind of things. I picked up a few products and put them to the test. Behold! My skin is back to clear and happy.

Let’s get to the products!

Facewash: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foam Cleanser

Makeup Remover: If I have worn makeup, I love the Garnier Mecellar Cleansing Water to remove it all easily and without irritation in the PM. It is really clean, gentle, and very effective.

Toner: Currently using Kiehls Ultra Facial Toner

Here are some La Roche-Posay toners that I will try next:

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro Exfoliating Astringent

La Roche-Posay Effeclar Face Toner Clarifying Solution

Vitamin C: La Roche-Posay Vitamin C Serum

Retinol Serum: CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum (because over 30;))

Eyes: CeraVe Eye Repair Cream

Moisturizer: CeraVe PM Moisturizer (Yes in the AM and PM)

PEACE OUT BREAKOUTS! I tried a few spot treatment products with ZERO change. Enter, La Roche-Posay Effeclar Duo Acne treatment. Hallelujah! 3 days of applying it twice a day and the problem was gone! It will really dry out the area, so be sure to moisturize too!

If my skin is acting up I will use the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser in the AM or PM.

Sunscreen: La Roche- Posay Enthelios Clear Skin Oil Free Dry Touch SPF 60

These products have truly changed the condition of my skin and made me feel so much better! Breakouts are stressful and unwelcomed, right?! I love this routine and I think it is going to be a great long term regimine for me. I hope it is great for you too!
